My evil landlord decided to retrofit our small building but he neglected to tell anyone.
I happened to go to the basement, which is a storage facility that we pay for separately
not included in rental services, and I found my storage unit demolished.

My property was shoved aside, a trench was cut in the cement through the middle of my unit,
a stuffed animal that my grandmother had given me was mysteriously hanging from a
sprinkler head, there was cement dust everywhere. I received absolutely no notice!!!

Neither the owner, manager, or contractor would come to the property. The contractor
omitted the fact that the basement was a storage facility on the building permit but the
inspector won't shut down the job. We were owed 30-days written notice. The Police won't help.
They say it is a landlord-tenant dispute, even though they admit it is trespassing, illegal entry.

I took photos that show all my property out and exposed. The building contractor has his
equipment locked up tight and secured to prevent theft.

The tenants union did say what the owner and contractor did was illegal, but I'm on my own.
Does anyone know of a good attorney skilled in these matters? I can pay a little to know
what direction to take.

Please write.

Sandy
