Dear Mr. Barnard,
After having read your first e-mail, and now your second, I wanted to
let you know that I have been reading your letters with great interest.
I appreciate your taking the time to share your feelings, even the angry ones,
with me.
It is my understanding that my collegue, Supervisor Teng, is working on legislation
to help prevent these types of evictions. Supervisor Teng held a press conference
earlier this week that suggested she would be introducing legislation on Monday,
October 20, that would address this problem.
Again, thank you for the e-mail, and I suppose both of us will be anticipating
Supervisor Teng's legislation Monday.
