I recently lost my beautiful home in a similar situation. We fought the
landlord and made certain he moved in on top of getting an extra 9 months
to stay from his eviciton date. Make sure those "kids" are moving in or you
can have a nice fat lawsuit on your hands. My sister and brother-in-law won
one of the largest suits in SF history in '80 when their landlady claimed
to do the same and had no intention of it. So just goes to show you!
I too am looking for a new place to call home, have been crashing with
friends for 2 months now. Good luck to you in a difficult rental market.
