how much do you pay in rent? do you feel that is reasonable for what you receive?
because you love where you live does that mean your rent should be subsidized?
or that your rent should never be raised? on another point do you ever ask for
a raise because of the quality of your work? should you be paid the same wage for
10 years? did you think about the what you are advocating? or do you just want a
great apt for a cheap price (which by the way we all want but how realistic
is that desire?) and if so then i recommend that you send your email to your
clients/boss letting them know that you never expect to increase your billing rate
or ever request a raise because that would imply you are greedy.. and you are not
you just want to live in a wonderful city...
