I read your message on Craig's page. Sorry I don't have a place to
offer but just wanted to express my empathy for your situation I am in
the same place. I've lived in my beautiful apartment for 15 years and
have taken excellent care of the apartment but due to my rent controlled
status and the rental shortage and top dollar market my landlord is
moving his two kids in to get me out. It is happening in epidemic
proportions! I have been looking for 6 weeks now and so far no results
I need to be out 11/1/97, I got a one month extension. Looking for an
apartment is like having another full time job. I wish you luck in
finding a place. If you have some good neighbors monitor the move in of
the landlords children and be sure that they stay "12 consecutive months"
because if they don't you can get the landlord where it hurts in the wallet.
